Benyfit Natural celebrates Crufts success
14 year old schoolgirl, Belle Howlett and her Border Collie, Ami have been named the winners of Young Kennel Club Jumping Dog of the Year Competition at this year’s Crufts.
Belle, who is trained by her mum, Kate Howlett of K9 K8 Dog Agility Training also received the YKC Sporting Talent of the Year trophy for her achievements which led her to being nominated for the YKC Shaun McAlpine Young Person of the Year Award at Crufts.
Belle, who is from Rayleigh in Essex has also been selected to represent the GB Junior Team in the Junior European Dog Agility Championships which is taking place in July this year in Slovakia.
Belle, Ami and her other competing dog Leia, are sponsored by leading dog food manufacturers, Benyfit Natural who specialise in producing recipes based on the Biologically Appropriate Raw Food Diet.
Benyfit Natural’s founder, Ben Van Praagh, himself a leading gundog trainer who has competed across the UK with his dogs in gundog trials and as a qualified chef, developed his own range of recipes to help the conditioning and vitality of his own dogs.
Ben said: “We are absolutely delighted with Belle’s achievements and we are very proud to have sponsored her and her dogs. She is an outstanding and talented young person and we are extremely pleased to see that dogs fed on the Benyfit Natural diet have performed so well at Crufts this year.
“We wish Belle the best of luck in the European Junior Championships and we look forward to following her progress throughout the rest of 2016.”
Benyfit Natural had further success at Crufts. Benyfit customer Penny Bambridge came second and third in her classes with her two Japanese Spitz dogs, Geisha and Dishy. Geisha came second in the Limit Bitch Class and Dishy came third in the Junior Dog Class.
