Pets Corner shortlisted for award

Pets Corner has been recognised by the Third Sector Business Charity Awards. The ethical pet retailer has been shortlisted in the Marketing Initiative of the Year category.

The awards, which are organised by Third Sector magazine, celebrate outstanding contributions from companies, and their respective collaborations with charities across the UK.

Pets Corner’s Give a Dog a Coat campaign, which supported the charity with the same name, aimed to help homeless dogs across the country to keep warm during the colder months.

Dean Richmond, Managing Director at Pets Corner, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Pets Corner has been shortlisted for the Marketing Initiative of the Year Award for the Give a Dog a Coat campaign.

“As a company we donate more than 4% of our net profit to charities and dedicate a great deal of time to giving back to the communities around us – this includes helping charities both nationally and at a local level.

“The work that Give a Dog a Coat undertakes is extremely worthwhile and we are proud that our collaboration with them has enabled them to grow and develop their services so that more homeless dogs are being reached.  We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with them in the future.”

The winner of the Marketing Initiative of the Year Award will be unveiled at a gala dinner on April 20 at the Hilton London Bankside.
