Key buyers from Spain, Finland, Dubai, the US and France have confirmed their attendance at a ‘Meet the Buyers’ event on March 2.
Overseas companies will have the opportunity to purchase UK pet and garden products during an event staged by export associations PetQuip and Gardenex at the Lea Marston Hotel in Sutton Coldfield.
Key pet product buyers include a long-established Spanish importer, distributor and wholesaler of pet products that supplies independent pet shops and chains. A chain of around 30 pet shop franchises from Finland will also be represented.
Meetings will run alongside a number of free seminars and information desks involving UKTI, UKEF and export related participants covering topics such as export finance, shipping, and finding distributors and agents in North America.
UK suppliers can access presentations on the key US and European markets. A workshop will support SMEs in making the most of global opportunities in the garden, leisure and pet sectors.
