2019 Petplan Veterinary Awards winners announced
The winners of the 2019 Petplan Veterinary Awards have been announced on 4 April during a ceremony at Town Hall in Birmingham.
The awards were hosted by impressionist Jon Culshaw best known for the BBC series Dead Ringers and The Impressions Show, along with the current ITV series NewZoids.
James Barnes, head of sales & partnerships at Petplan, said: โWe were delighted to host the 20th annual Petplan Veterinary Awards. This year we received an outstanding number of nominations, with more than 40,000 entries from pet owners and the veterinary community.
โWe had a fantastic evening celebrating the incredible work carried out by some of our countryโs best veterinary professionals. I would like to congratulate all of our deserving winners on their brilliant achievement.โ
The winners were as follows:
- Practice Manager of the Year โ Rachel Duncan of 387 Veterinary Centre, Walsall
- Practice Support Staff of the Year โ Sharon Scarratt of Blue House Veterinary Centre, Stoke-On-Trent (Sharon passed away before the award announcements however her nomination was accepted posthumously)
- Vet Nurse of the Year โ Sarah Barnett of Watkins and Tasker Veterinary Group, Yatton
- Practice of the Year โ Blue House Veterinary Centre, Stoke-On-Trent
- Vet of the Year โ Danielle Greenberg of The Liverpool Vets in Liverpool
