Italian pharmaceutical company Candioli Srl has acquired British pet health and vitamin supplements firm Vetark Products to expand its reach across Europe.
The change of ownership will see Vetark Products sitting under its new parent company Candioli Srl, with both companies expecting to benefit from the increased international presence. With over 130 years experience in the pharmaceutical market, Candioli will bring its vast industry knowledge to the new partnership, creating positive changes to the product portfolio, international distribution and technical support.
The acquisition, which was completed on Wednesday 28 November, will see Vetark continue to operate out of its Winchester office under the current name. With the direction and expertise of Candioli, Vetark look set to cement its position as a leader in the animal health market.
Candioli Srl is part of the Candioli group, a family owned group of companies whose core business is in manufacturing and distributing pharmaceutical products, as well as nutritional supplements for companion animals. Candioli has introduced highly innovative products in the veterinary market to improve the health conditions of pets, with products now available in over 50 countries worldwide.
