Kormotech appoints new head of Western European sales
This strategic combination of roles supports the company's 2024-2028 growth plan, which targets €500m (£420.8m) in turnover

Ukrainian pet food company Kormotech has appointed Ulyana Fitsa to lead its brands sales in Western Europe while maintaining her position as global chief supply chain officer.
The Western European sales direction was previously led by Nazar Shchyrba, who will now focus on Kormotech’s sales in Latin America, the Baltics, Czechia, Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia, as well as private label partnerships.
Fitsa has been with Kormotech since its founding in 2003, where she started as an English translator. Her career includes roles as foreign economic activity manager and logistics manager, before becoming head of logistics in 2007.
In 2013, she was appointed chief supply chain officer where she has grown her team to 160 professionals, ensuring production and distribution of Kormotech’s products to 46 countries worldwide, including major markets such as the United States, Japan, and multiple European Union countries.
In her expanded role, Fitsa will leverage her “strong negotiation skills” and industry experience to drive sales growth and build strategic partnerships

Fitsa said: “Yes, it’s a challenge, but where there are challenges, there are opportunities. I have three major goals ahead: to make pets in Western Europe happier and healthier by offering them the best Ukrainian-made product, to increase Kormotech’s brand awareness in the region, and to achieve results that drive the company toward its ultimate goal.”
