Herbal Dog Co supports Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter
Founded in 2021, The Herbal Dog Company was designed with Stocks’ British bulldog Benson in mind
Herbal Dog Co has announced that it has donated £1,400 to Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter as its charity partner.
In December, the company pledged to donate £1 from every sale of their Christmas scent to Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter.
As a result, the company was able to present the shelter with a cheque after selling over 1000 bottles of its ‘Snow Dog’ festive shampoo to the shelter earlier this month.
Founder Gemma Stocks said: “Every single product we have created is centred around natural ingredients and contains no harsh chemicals. The product range includes joint and mobility supplements, itchiness relief tonic, gut health powders, supplements to support healthy teeth and gums, sensitive skin supplements and more.
“Using sustainable packaging is a big part of the company’s ethos too, and it is proving a big hit with the lovable characters currently looking for a home at the Shelter as Herbal Dog Company staff pamper the cats and dogs currently in kennels with treats from their range.”
Iain Riddell, fundraising and marketing manager for Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter, added: “Herbal Dog Co are an amazing partner at the Shelter. Not only do they give us financial support through the sale of their ‘Snow Dog’ scent, but they shine a light on our animals through content on social media, gift in-kind products for us to use on our animals, and support other initiatives at the Shelter including wider volunteering for the wider team.”
