Wagg to launch limited-edition dessert flavoured dog treats

Although the treats come in sweet flavours, they are made with only natural flavourings and no added sugar

UK-based pet food brand Wagg has launched a new limited-edition range of dessert flavoured dog treats.

It comes after its research found that nearly half (47%) of shoppers indulge in treats as a dessert for dogs.

The new Wagg Treats come in three flavours, namely Apple Pie, Carrot Cake and Vanilla Cheesecake.

Although the treats come in sweet flavours, they are made with only natural flavourings and no added sugar. These treats can be given to all pups aged 8 weeks or older.

The Apple Pie flavour contains oats, apple puree and cinnamon, while the carrot cake treats are made of oats, carrot, honey and cinnamon.

Lastly, Vanilla Cheesecake contains oats, yoghurt, whey powder, cheese and natural vanilla flavour.

The new range retails for £1.29 and is available at Pets at Home, Poundland and the Range. Tesco will only stock the Carrot Cake treats, while the Apple Pie flavour will be exclusively stocked at B&M.

Wagg is part of the Inspired Pet Nutrition (IPN) family, alongside sister brands Harringtons, Barking Heads and AATU.
