Henry Bell Wild Bird Care appoints new sales agent

Prior to joining Henry Bell for the last four years, Mills worked as a sales agent for Wilson Agencies

Henry Bell Wild Bird Care has appointed Mike Mills to its national network of sales agents.

In his new role, Mills will represent the brand across Kent and East and West Sussex, with sole responsibility for garden centre and country store customers in the region.

Mills, who set up his own business, Mills Agencies, just a few months ago, has extensive experience of garden centres and began working in them straight after leaving school.

Mills said: โ€œSo there are plenty of accounts to look after and they are a real mixture. Some belong to buying groups, while others are smaller independents. It certainly helps that Henry Bell stock availability is so good, delivery times are brilliant and itโ€™s a nice company to work with.

โ€œThereโ€™s a definite family feel and everyone seems so supportive. Customers have really bought into the brand, as they like the quality of Henry Bell products and their sleek, professional packaging, which looks fantastic on store shelves.โ€

Andrew Mellowes, Henry Bell national sales manager, added: โ€œWe are delighted to welcome Mike aboard. He is a tremendous asset to the company, bringing a fresh pair of eyes, a broad knowledge base and a huge amount of enthusiasm. Mike is popular with all our accounts and well-liked and respected by members of the Henry Bell team.โ€
