VMD recalls certain Beaphar and Wilko dog products

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate has urged end users to return any affected product to the shop at which it was purchased

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) has announced a product defect recall alert for certain batches of Beaphar Dog Flea Shampoo and Pets with Wilko Insecticidal Dog Shampoo.

Due to a potential quality concern, Sinclair Animal and Household Care Ltd has initiated a Class II recall to end users for the following products.

The recall is for the Beaphar Dog Flea Shampoo batches 155552 and 375067, which expires on 07/2023 and 01/2024 respectively.

Additionally, Pets with Wilko Insecticidal Dog Shampoo batches 3000135 and 478258, with expiration dates of 11/2024 and 7/2023, have also been recalled.

The recall only pertains to the mentioned batches, and no other Beaphar or Wilko products are involved. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Retailers are advised by the Marketing Authorisation Holder to examine inventory immediately and quarantine products subject to this recall.
