Vet’s Kitchen launches Senior Dog Club
The company’s in-house team of vets have seen a rise in age-related issues in dogs that could reportedly be alleviated or relieved through a senior-specific diet

Pet food brand, Vet’s Kitchen, has announced the launch of its Senior Dog Club in response to the growing population of senior dogs and a rise in avoidable age-related issues.
Members of the Vet’s Kitchen Senior Dog Club will receive a Senior Dog Pass, a bag of senior dog food, along with special senior discounts and promotions, alongside a quarterly newsletter with tips and advice on providing the “best” care for senior dogs.
According to Vet’s Kitchen, there are an estimated 9.6 million pet dogs living in the UK, of which an estimated 40% are seniors over the age of seven, around 65 in human years depending on the breed.
Laura Shears, managing director at Vet’s Kitchen, said: “Feeding the right food to our dogs at each life stage is so important for them to live healthier, happier lives. Our in-house team of vets have seen a rise in age-related issues in dogs that could be alleviated or relieved through a senior-specific diet.
“Our Senior Dog Club aims to educate consumers and to create a community offering support and tailored advice on how best to care for the older dog.”
