Pets at Home appoints chief people officer

Pets at Home has announced the appointment of Rachel Mooney as its new chief people officer.
Prior to joining the group, Mooney held senior roles at global brands including Google and Vodafone, and was previously chief people officer at Monzo and Snow Software.
According to Pets at Home, she has been “instrumental” in developing talent acquisition strategies, upskilling leadership, and shaping organisational effectiveness throughout her career.
The group added that she has a “strong sense of purpose and people engagement remain central to building a meaningful employer brand”.
In addition to her previous senior roles, Mooney has held several board roles, acting as a non-executive director at both Vodafone Group Services and Women’s Aid (Ireland).
