Beaphar strengthens leadership with two new appointments
Beaphar said it thanks Sue and Roland for their dedication and hard work over the last 28 years and for helping make Beaphar UK the business that it is today.
Pet healthcare provider Beaphar has announced the appointment of John Toole as UK country manager and Jane Austin as UK sales manager following an internal promotion.
The appointments follow the retirement of both Sue Huggett , UK business manager and Roland Huggett, UK sales manager, who have been leading the team for almost 30 years.
According to the firm, Toole joins the team with over 20 years of commercial experience within the animal health industry having worked in both veterinary and retail sectors, in senior marketing and commercial roles.
His extensive experience in companion animal parasiticides includes the POM to OTC switch of Frontline and most recently helping Vetoquinol develop their retail business following the acquisition of Drontal.
Additionally, Austin is promoted to UK sales manager after almost 28 years in the business. She has held a variety of roles since joining Beaphar UK as one of the first employees to the business.
Since then, the firm said Austin’s roles have included regional sales executive, training manager as well as her previous role of field sales manager which she has held for the last 10 years.
Toole said: “I am delighted to be joining the team. Beaphar has been extremely successful in bringing a vast range of innovative healthcare products to the retail market across many species. I look forward to continuing the exciting journey the company has been on with our retail partners.”
Austin added: “I am looking forward to the new challenge in a company that I have been proud to have been part of the growth team, since its inception and I look forward to enhancing the growth even further in my new role.”
