Denzel’s launch new plant-based treats
The product is made using peanut butter, kale and fresh banana, and is suitable for all dogs aged 14 weeks and over
Denzel’s has announced the launch of new plant-based training treats, after a recent study showed that 40% of dog food buyers aged 16 to 24 “prefer to give plant-based meals to their pets regularly”.
The product is made using peanut butter, kale and fresh banana, and is suitable for all dogs aged 14 weeks and over.
By creating plant-based goods, Denzel’s said it “hopes to encourage customers to make a positive change for the environment and help them and reduce their carbon footprint”.
In addition to the “eco-conscious ingredients”, the product’s resealable pouches are 100% plastic-free; made from wood pulp. They are also completely biodegradable and home compostable.
Daisy Neale, brand manager at Denzel’s, said: “We wanted to give pet parents the opportunity to feed their pups a healthy, delicious plant-based snack. We’re seeing more pet owners looking for environmentally friendly options for their pups, why shouldn’t your four-legged family members join in on Meat Free Mondays too?”
