Mayhew teams up with agency for new outdoor campaign

Mayhew has teamed up with a creative agency on a new outdoor campaign to appeal to a wider audience and highlight the range of proactive animal welfare and community outreach work it delivers.

The four ads, which highlight Mayhew’s community work such as onsite vet clinic, animal welfare, visiting animal therapy programme, and their work with the homeless, will be featured at bus shelters around North West and Central London including Camden and Hammersmith for two weeks. The ads will run for two 1 week bursts during the weeks commencing October 9 and November 6.

Mayhew’s CEO, Caroline Yates, said: “We are delighted to have collaborated with Whippet on this project and we are thrilled with the result.”

It has been the first prominent outdoor campaign that Mayhew have worked on since 2013. And the first since they rebranded from ‘The Mayhew Animal Home’ to ‘Mayhew’ in July this year, overhauling their brand strategy, identity and logo to highlight the range of programmes they deliver in addition to the rescue and rehoming work they are known for.

Whippet’s managing director, Carla Heath, said: “Far from being ‘just another shelter’ Mayhew have a fantastic range of services that benefit London’s animal owners in all sorts of ways.

“As an agency of animal lovers, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help support them in their first awareness campaign. We hope it’ll inspire Londoners to donate so Mayhew can keep doing such beneficial work in the local community.”
