German company seeks UK pet accessories
An upcoming business event will place international buyers in touch with UK pet accessories manufacturers. German company Waschbär will attend a ‘Meet the International Buyers’ day organised by Gardenex, in Brasted, Kent on 7 June 2017.
It will be one of seven product buyers from Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia and Russia to take part in the Gardenex export association event.
The initiatives aims to provide UK suppliers with the opportunity of meeting overseas buyers on a one-to-one basis.
Waschbär is a large mail order company and online sales business focused on environmentally-friendly products in Germany.
The buyer is looking for environmentally-friendly garden products to add to the range, as well as pet accessories such as dog leashes, toys and educational items.
The company’s existing 7,000 items range from fashion, cosmetics and household goods to garden and free-time. It issues a twice-yearly mail order catalogue and also has four retail shops that sell exclusively the products featured in the catalogues.
In addition, it supplies customers across Europe and has set up Swiss, Austrian and Dutch web-shops for its customers in those countries. It already imports from the UK.
