Twenty five pet companies had good reason to celebrate at the PetQuip’s Awards Dinner & Party. On September 25, PetQuip revealed the winners in 2016’s eight awards categories.
The sell-out event took place at the Ludlow Suite in the Telford International Centre, in association with PATS Telford. The awards were presented by Pat Flynn, PetQuip trade association manager.
Amanda Sizer Barrett MBE, director general of the PetQuip association, said: “The positive reaction from the pet care industry from the point that the 2016 PetQuip Awards were first launched demonstrates that the event is now one of the most important on the pet industry calendar.
“All those recognised in the awards were proudly displaying their award certificates on their stands at PATS the following day, and the pride in their wins was evident.
“PetQuip is proud to recognise all those hard working companies that make this industry so vibrant. The judges were impressed by the hard work, innovation and teamwork demonstrated by all the entrants.
“In addition to witnessing the genuine delight on the winners’ faces, it was great to see the positive networking that took place between suppliers and buyers during the evening in such a great atmosphere.
“The evening was rewarding also as it is an ideal opportunity to thank everyone who attends and supports the awards evening; it’s all of them who make our work so worthwhile and this industry such a great one to be in!
