PetQuip’s international buyer database helps generate overseas sales leads
PetQuip, the International Trade Association of Pet Equipment Suppliers, has revealed one of the sources of UK companies’ success in Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida. The up-to-date international buyer database information provided by the PetQuip association was one of the many services that offered support to British exhibitors.
Companies including Armitage Pet Care and POO Guard used the database listings in their build-up to the show to make new sales contacts with North American retailers and distributors, as well as buyers from South America, Asia and Europe.
Armitage Pet Care’s products attracted around 50 new business leads and Julius Rugg of POO Guard stated that “the show exceeded expectations”.
Beco Pets’ range of eco-friendly products attracted many US companies. Through the company’s collaboration with US distributor Pet Product Innovations they now have full US coverage for the Beco Pets ranges.
PetQuip’s British pet product British information stand also attracted around 50 buyer and press contacts and generated 15 positive leads from 12 countries so far, all of which have been passed on to PetQuip members.
The PetQuip team assists and promotes the development of international trade in the pet equipment sector, providing a catalyst for business contact between manufacturers, suppliers and international buyers.
