Bob Martin acquires Care business from Nestlé Purina in Europe

Family-run pet healthcare business, Bob Martin, has reached an agreement with Nestlé Purina. Bob Martin purchased the Nestlé Purina PetCare business, which manufactures and sells a range of small animal pet food and pet accessories. The sale was completed on January 1 2016.

Bob Martin acquires manufacturing, distribution and salesforce capabilities in France, Spain and Italy, expanding the business’s existing footprint in Europe.

Savi Madan, CEO, Bob Martin, said: “With over 85 years’ experience, the Purina PetCare business offers significant expertise in pet wellbeing, which complements Bob Martin’s own heritage in companion animal healthcare. The acquisition provides us with the unique capability to manufacture and supply our customers with everything pets need, from medicines and feed, to grooming and accessories.
