Arcadia Reptile has produced its first captive-bred baby Madagascan plated lizard.
The youngster was bred with a trio of long term captive adults acquired from Rep-Tech. They were kept in a fully bio-active 5x3x3 vivarium with Habistat control, Halogen heat spots, Arcadia ZooBar and Jungle Dawn Arcadia EarthPro vitamins and EarthMix organic substrate.
Arcadia Reptile products manager John Courteney-Smith said: “I am really excited, Madagascan plated lizards are not rare or expensive but are very rarely bred in captivity.”
