Datalogic have announced that a roll out of Memor X3 mobile computers, with its partner Advanced Retail, has helped Pets Corner, to dramatically reduce time spent on paper-based processes, improve stock accuracy and concentrate on customer service.
Matt Murtagh, area manager at Pets Corner and a key member of the project team that deployed the Datalogic solution explained;
“Before implementing the Datalogic Memor devices, our staff were spending a huge amount of time on paper-based stock management tasks.
“For a large delivery, this process could take up to five or six hours to complete.
Now, armed with the Datalogic device, the same activity can be completed in as little as 30 minutes, saving us in excess of 22,000 man hours a year on processing deliveries alone,” commented Murtagh.
