Following the recent liquidation of Dicksons Pet Food Ltd, Dicksons’ premium dog food brand, Just Delicious, will now be distributed by Brookside Pet Food.
Owners of Brookside Pet Food Jo and Peter Barrett have also bought out all the Dicksons stock and aim to carry on with the wholesale and retail side of the former business by selling and distributing a range of well-known brands for horse, dog and small animal owners, as well as bait and fish food for anglers and fishermen.
Dicksons Just Delicious is a four-in-one food available in three different life stages. Brookside Pet Food intends to expand its presence in the breeder market and has plans to introduce new varieties to the Just Delicious range.
Commenting on the purchase of Dicksons, Jo and Peter Barratt said: “We are delighted and very excited to be taking over such an excellent product range. The feedback we have already received from stockists and customers about the Just Delicious products is extremely encouraging.
“We will be looking to develop the business over the coming months and years and look forward to meeting everyone in the industry and our loyal customers.”
