Search for pet friendly innovations continuesPets at Home is inviting all aspiring inventors and designers to showcase their innovative product ideas at its fourth innovation open day on 12 July.

Held at the company’s Stoke-on-Trent distribution centre, the event is open to anyone that has designed an inspired or unique pet friendly product. If the design is found to be suitable it could find itself fast tracked into the company’s product line.

Claire Gavin, head of innovation at Pets at Home, said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for people to show their ideas and creations to a panel of experts.

“On all three of the open days we have held so far, we have seen some great innovation and are currently fast tracking over 11 different concepts into the business.”

Applicants who have a fully developed prototype are asked to send a design pitch to productdesign@petsathome.co.uk whereupon any successful applicants will be contacted to receive a 30-minute time slot in which to present their concept.
