The Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association (PFMA) is encouraging those who work in the veterinary profession, pet welfare, and rehoming charities to sign up to its upcoming online webinars.
In a bid to make the training courses more accessible to these professionals, the PFMA is now offering an exclusive 20% discount for those who sign up within these sectors.
Last week, the association announced the launch of its first series of Pet Food and Nutrition Training Webinars, set to be delivered online between 14 July and 23 July.
The webinars will be led by top UK pet food consultants, scientists, and vets, and the course is additionally CPD certified, with a digital certificate of attendance on completion.
The course contents include pet nutrition for canines, felines, small mammals, pet birds and pet fish, as well as the manufacturing of safe pet food, including dry, wet and raw food.
Webinars will also explore pet food legislation, product labelling and marketing regulations.
Sarah Hormozi, PFMA head of science and education, said: “With some of the most credible industry experts as our speakers, this is a rare opportunity for pet professionals across the UK and EU to improve and refresh their knowledge of animal nutrition, pet food legislation, marketing regulations and manufacturing methods, from the comfort of their own home or office.”
