Cookie’s Dog Bakery launches new dog biscuit line

Glasgow-based dog treat manufacturer Cookie’s Dog Bakery has launched a new range of dog biscuits.Sandra Donnelly, founder of the company, was inspired to create the range when her Cocker Spaniels, Cookie and Kizzmit began gaining weight and one of them became seriously ill. Realising the food and treats she was giving them were packed with calories and additives she decided to start making her own.

She has since qualified as a canine nutritionist, and has developed a handful of unique recipes, which include tuna, organic carrots and brown rice along with her very own homemade peanut butter.

The result is a range of low calorie treats, which are said to be not only nutritious and healthy but “mouth-wateringly tasty” too.

With its clear labelling on the newly designed packaging and affordable pricing, this new range has been welcomed by many within the dog industry.
