Skinner’s expands partnership with The Kennel Club
Skinner’s Pet Foods has agreed to a three year partnership with dog welfare organisation, The Kennel Club.
For a number of years, Skinner’s have been the sponsor of The Kennel Club Agility Stakes. The new deal sees Skinner’s become the principal sponsor of The International Agility Festival.
William Delamore, sales and marketing director for Skinner’s Pet Foods said: “When the opportunity arose to become involved with the festival, we saw it as a natural fit. Our Field and Trial range has been designed specifically for working and active dogs and is ideal for performance dogs that compete in agility.”
The new partnership also sees Skinner’s become a sponsor at Crufts for the first time. For generations, the company has been involved in supporting working dog activities ranging from summer working tests to Field Trial Championships and international teams. This new partnership will widen their reach and position them in front of the 14,000 qualifiers competing at Crufts.
Delamore added: “Our heritage has always been working dogs. This began in the 1970’s and is still true today. Many people within our organisation have working dogs, myself included. We aim to promote and support these activities in the best way we can”.
The final part of the partnership renews Skinner’s contract with The Chatsworth Working Test, The Cocker Spaniel Championship, The English Springer Spaniel Championship, and The HPR Championship.
