Bestpets wins ‘Wholesaler of the Year’ for a second year in a row

Bestpets, the specialist pet care division of Bestway Wholesale, was named as ‘Wholesaler of the Year’ at the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) awards, for the second year in a row.

The awards, which were held at Whittlebury Hall, Towcester, Northamptonshire on Tuesday 27 November, are the UK’s premier event for the pet industry and recognise businesses in categories such as ‘Retailer of the Year’, ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘Dog Grooming Business of the Year’.

This year Bestpets has introduced new suppliers, particularly to offer customers a choice with products such as Go Native and True Instinct. It also reintroduced the James Wellbeloved brand.

Peter Brame, director of trading – pet, said: “Being selected to win this award for a second year in a row is a fantastic achievement for Bestpets. We work in partnership with our customers from independent pet retailers to professional pet groomers, to help develop their businesses.

“We seek to offer customers the very best product range and service for a fair price and this accolade is testament to the hard work of the team which has resulted in us achieving national recognition for our efforts. Thank you to all of our customers for shopping with Bestpets and for recognising us with this award.”
