Pets at Home stalwart leaves after 20 years

In its most recent results Pets at Home saw total group revenue rise by 1.9% to ยฃ789.1m, up 1.6% on a like-for-like basis in its first-half results for FY25

Louise Stonier has left Pets at Home after 20 years with the company where she held various roles.

Most recently, Stonier served as chief operating officer and managing director in the companyโ€™s vet group.

She announced on LinkedIn that she has joined Medivet as chief operating officer for the UK and international markets.

Stonier first joined the business back in 2004 as head of legal, spending 10 years in the role.

Following this she advanced to positions such as chief people and legal officer and later chief people and culture officer.

She also helped guide the business through two private equity ownerships with Bridgepoint Capital and KKR and an IPO together with the acquisition of Vets4Pets in 2013.

In its most recent results Pets at Home saw total group revenue rise by 1.9% to ยฃ789.1m, up 1.6% on a like-for-like basis in its first-half results for FY25.

The vet group remained a standout performer, with revenue growth of 18.6% in the 28 weeks to October 10, driven by a combination of increased subscriptions, higher average transaction values, and more frequent visits.
