Waitrose Christmas pet sales up 964% YOY

Waitrose has revealed that sales for Christmas pet lines are up 964% over the last 30 days.
The company recently launched a selection of paw-fect treats and toys for pets this Christmas.
This includes its first ‘Paw-some Mince Pies’, Christmas flavoured ‘Meaty Strips with Turkey and Sage’ for your food-legged friends, as well as ‘Chicken, Duck and Cranberries Cat Treats Crunchy Mix’.
Waitrose has also launched a ‘Good Boy Reindeer Bobble Bal’, ‘Zoon Drink Dog Toy’ and ‘Zoon Christmas Character Dog Toy’.
Alongside this, searches on Waitrose.com for ‘dog christmas’ increased 114% in the last week.
Sales at Waitrose for the Forthglade Lamb and Chicken Trays were up 343% while Lily’s Kitchen Organic Chicken Supper was up 183%.
Sales of Forthglade Adult Sardines Complete Meal rose 169% and Marleybones Lush Nosh Lamb Dog Food were up 84%.
