Dr Veneta appoints new sales manager

Freeze dried pet food brand Dr Veneta has appointed Jackie Waters as its new sales manager to help fulfil its plans for growth in the new year.
Created by veterinary surgeon and nutritionist Dr Veneta Kozhuharova DVM, MRCVS, Cert.CFHVNut. who is director of Associated Veterinary Services based in Rainham in Kent, the brand made its trade debut at PATS Telford in October receiving a “huge amount of interest” from retailers and wholesalers alike.
Waters, who lives in Calderbridge in the Lake District, joins Dr Veneta from a “market leader” in the veterinary pet food sector.

As the new sales manager, Waters will be talking to prospective new clients, will be handling the customer services for existing clients and will be looking to open doors for the Dr Veneta brand in the veterinary and holistic markets where there is a “great deal of potential for the brand”.
Dr Veneta is currently available in five varieties: Stay Mobile (Chicken Swede andBlueberry) Stay Calm (Turkey, Pear and Apple) Stay Shiny (Turkey, Salmon, Carrot and Blueberry) Stay Well (Chicken & Rabbit, Apple and Pumpkin) and Stay Young (Pork, Pumpkin and Pear).
Waters said: “I am really excited to be starting this new role with Dr Veneta, To be promoting a new brand in a growing area of the dog food market is both challenging and rewarding. I am particularly looking forward to meeting new customers and spreading the freeze dried message amongst stockists and dog owners.”
