Zooplus appoints new chief financial officer

Schüller will be based at Zooplus’ headquarters in Munich, Germany

European online pet platform Zooplus has appointed Steffen Schüller as chief financial officer and member of the management board and executive committee. 

Schüller joins Zooplus as of May to ensure a smooth transition period. Effective 6 June, he will take over the CFO role from Andreas Maueröder, who decided not to extend his contract. 

Prior to becoming a CFO at Zooplus, Schüller worked for fashion retailer Peek and Cloppenburg as the group chief financial officer. He was also CFO of the automotive retailer Emil Frey and CFO of Lidl Digital.

In his role at Zooplus, Schüller will lead the departments of finance and accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury and legal. Schüller will be based at Zooplus’ headquarters in Munich, Germany.
