Dr Veneta to launch in April

Additionally, the range also includes fermented yeast supercharging each recipe’s capacity to support good digestion, supple joints and muscles, healthy skin, shiny coats and reduced inflammation

UK-based vet and canine nutritionist Dr Veneta is set to launch her eponymous pet food brand in April with her new range of freeze-dried dog food.

The four-strong portfolio of freeze-dried nuggets prioritises the ongoing health of the dog’s microbiome, where 84% of its all-important immune system resides.

The new range is made with 80% meat or fish supplemented with minimally-processed human grade fruit, vegetables and herbs and comes in different flavours, including Stay Mobile (Chicken Swede and Blueberry), Stay Calm (Turkey, Pear and Apple), Stay Shiny (Turkey, Salmon, Carrot and Blueberry) and Stay Young (Pork, Pumpkin and Pear).

Dr Veneta said: “I was determined to launch a far-reaching range that gave equal billing to great taste and nutritional integrity, fuelling the healthier living aspirations of today’s better informed pet owners.

“As an active veterinary practitioner my team and I see so many morbidly obese and nutritionally bereft dogs for whom a nutritionally well-rounded diet could make the world of difference.”
