Essential Foods appoints new CEO
David Elsass has previously held the post of chief marketing and digital officer at GripGrab and as the VP of the Consumer Division at 3 Denmark
Pet food company Essential Foods has appointed David Elsass as its new CEO.
Elsass will work closely with founder Christian Degner-Elsner to raise awareness of the brand in several major European markets to the same level as its “most successful” markets in Denmark, the UK and Japan.
Elsass is known for his marketing and sales experience with a keen focus on digital growth. Hecomes from a position as an independent consultant focusing on commercial strategy development for start-ups and scale-ups.
Additionally, he has previously held the post of chief marketing and digital officer at GripGrab and as the VP of the Consumer Division at 3 Denmark. Furthermore, in past positions at IC Group and Kunde and Co. he had strategic roles within sales and marketing. The position will be Elsass’ first as CEO.
