Whiskas and Butchers named Best Pet Products of the Year

The Product of the Year logo has 81% shopper recognition and can be spotted in all major supermarkets and convenience stores across the country

Whiskas Pouch Reset and Butcher’s Nourishing Food for Dogs Healthy Heart Tins have been named Product of the Year for the cat and dog categories respectively.

Whiskas new range has been tasted and approved by 3 out of 4 cats while Butcher’s worked with nutritionists to create their range of balanced meals.

This year was the 20th anniversary of Product of the Year, with 8,000 customers surveyed to decide the winner.

The winners were announced at the recent awards ceremony hosted at iconic London venue, Quaglino’s, by acclaimed TV personality Tom Allen.

Natasha Bryant, senior brand manager, Butcher’s, said: “Healthy Heart is our most exciting NPD to date providing an affordable, everyday natural meal to support a dog’s heart health.
