Vetspeed has announced that its co-founder Clive Jackman passed away at the age of 87 on 27 October.
Jackman played a pivotal role in the formative years of CPC Cares, Vetspeedโs leading company, specifically in the development of the individual pet cremation service.
He pioneered pet cremation in the UK during the late 1970s, an innovation initially met with scepticism.
Jackman setup Vetspeed in September 1979 and was appointed as a director in 1992 before resigning as a director in 2000.
Ray Hale, co-founder of Vetspeed, said: “I have many memories working with Clive, and I
learned so much from him. Clive’s legacy continues to resonate, evident in the Christmas cards that are still received from clients to this day.”
