Edgard and Cooper launches in Whole Foods across London
Other items such as treats and dental sticks are also available
Edgard and Cooper, an ethical pet food brand of kibble, food and treats for UK pets, has launched in Whole Foods markets across London.
Customers can find crunchy kibbles, silky paté and cat food selections for kittens, adults, and seniors.
For dogs, Whole Foods is offering Edgard and Cooper’s wet and dry food options, including its plant-based kibble. Other items such as treats and dental sticks are also available.
According to Edgard and Cooper, the coming together of the brands will “provide conscious shoppers across the capital with more choice for nutritious pet food that gives back”.
The brand was founded in 2004 by Louis and Koen and named after their beloved dogs, Edgard and Cooper.
The duo came up with an idea to create a dog food recipe that contained fresh meat, vegetables, and herbs – at a time when they were told it couldn’t be done.
After two and a half years of development, the recipe was completed, and today the brand is available in 13 countries.
All products come in fully recyclable packaging, and 1% of each sale will be donated to its charity foundation which undertakes pioneering work including the eradication of rabies in Kabul.
Edgard and Cooper said: “This is another huge win for our UK team, and we couldn’t be more excited to grow our pet family even more.”
