NVS unveils new group identity and HQ

Additionally, the new facility is specially designed with “cutting-edge” technology and an enhanced infrastructure that will allow NVS Group to expand its range of products and services

National Veterinary Services Limited (NVSL), the UK’s provider of animal health products and services has unveiled a new group identity, NVS Group, and has opened its new HQ, Spitfire House, in Stoke-on-Trent.

The new group identity unites four of its brands: National Veterinary Services (NVS), Select from NVS, NationWide Laboratories (NWL), and VetIT as one cohesive family and offers an end-to-end service; from wholesale and consumables to laboratory services and industry-leading practice management software.

The group also said that its logo is a modern interpretation of the previous identity, “ensuring instant recognition within the industry, but it also serves to distinguish the group identity from its wholesale business, NVS”.

Additionally, the new facility is specially designed with “cutting-edge” technology and an enhanced infrastructure that will allow NVS Group to expand its range of products and services.

These modern, purpose-built premises will also enable the group to streamline its operations and ensure “greater efficiencies”.

According to NVS Group, at over 250,000 square feet (or 23,000m²), Spitfire House “more than doubles” the group’s current warehousing and distribution capacity.

Features of the new facility include automated picking system and warehouse track, increased picking accuracy and order security, fast and accurate batch tracking, increased storage area, double pharmacy space to expand direct-to-customer offering and a thermally efficient cold chain solution.

Spitfire House has been designed with sustainability in mind and has been constructed to achieve an “Excellent” rating in the BREEAM building sustainability assessment method – placing it within the top 10% of new non-domestic buildings in the UK. It’s a huge step forward in our commitment to delivering a greener pawprint.

Martin Riley, NVS group managing director, said: “We are thrilled to introduce NVS Group as our new brand identity. This new group identity reflects our commitment to working together in collaboration to deliver excellence in animal health. We are excited about the opportunities this will bring for our customers as we continue to grow and evolve in the veterinary industry.”
