Jollyes unveils revamped Newport, Isle of Wight store

Jollyes Newport store has also recruited two new colleagues taking the team to eleven

Jollyes has announced it will reopen its Newport store on the Isle of Wight on 27 May, after undergoing a major refurbishment.

The store is โ€œone of the firstโ€ in the UK to have a frozen raw food โ€˜shop-in-shopโ€™ providing an extensive range of โ€œhigh-qualityโ€, โ€œnutritiousโ€, raw meals.

The store is introducing a brand new wash and go service, where pet owners can use the store’s dog-wash booths for ยฃ5.00 and give their pets a full clean-up.

On Saturday, over the bank holiday weekend and until 4 June, dogs can try out the wash booth for free in return for a donation to store charity partner Mountbatten which is changing the way people across the Isle of Wight receive end of life care and bereavement support.

Customers can also spin Jollyesโ€™ iconic โ€˜wheel of fur-tuneโ€™ to win pet prizes and a face painter and stilt walkers will round off the entertainment when the store officially reopens at 10.00am on Saturday 27 May.

Later this summer it will also open a community pet clinic offering Vet-supervised dog and cat vaccinations in the clinic starting at ยฃ14 and ยฃ13 for rabbits with primary course jabs for dogs and cats at ยฃ33.

Microchipping, already compulsory for dogs and now in new government plans extended to be compulsory for cats, will also start at ยฃ10.

Mark White, store manager, said: โ€œWeโ€™re proud to serve the pet parents of the whole island from our base here in Newport and are delighted to be raising money this weekend for our friends at Mountbatten.โ€
