Nutravet rebrands Nutramega to Nutracoat

It further stated that Nutracoat has the same recipe as Nutramega, which contains refined omega-3 fish oil from ocean sardine

Pet healthcare brand Nutravet has rebranded its skin and coat supplement Nutramega to Nutracoat in the UK and Ireland.

Nutracoat has already been available internationally for a number of years and has an “established” customer base.

Nutravet said that part of the reason for the name change was to create “a simpler more consistent brand message that communicates the product’s main area of use which is for maintaining skin and coat health in cats and dogs”.

It further stated that Nutracoat has the same recipe as Nutramega, which contains refined omega-3 fish oil from ocean sardine, making the changeover “easy.”

Nutracoat also incorporates a “unique blend of vital nutrients to promote healthy skin and a lustrous coat”.

Chris Jones, managing director at Nutravet, said: “We’re continually looking at ways to improve our product offering, which includes ensuring our product range can be discussed with ease between veterinary professionals and pet owners.

“Nutramega has been hugely successful in the UK since it launched in 2013 and we hope to make the transition process to Nutracoat as smooth as possible.”
