Dogtrac launches new dog tracking tag

The tags are available on Dogtrac’s website, come in small and medium for larger dogs and are available for £12

Dogtrac, which already safeguards over 100,000 dogs in the UK, has launched a new dog tracking tag named the Dogtrac tag.

The company was founded by Nick Brummitt, who is also the founder of the multimillion-pound daily deal site Wowcher.

The DogTrac tag stores every bit of information about a pet including their name,
behavioural traits, a photo and video of them, insurance status, microchip number,
vets details, email address and up to three contact numbers.

The tag allows you to report your pet as missing within your account to our UK wide ‘Dog Watch Community’. On average approximately 300 people in any five mile radius registered on the company’s dogwatch community that will actively look out for your pet.

Furthermore if the QR code is scanned your pet’s GPS location will be captured and you will be sent a map with directions from your current location showing you exactly where your pet was found and how to get to them.

Brummitt said: “As a dog owner myself I know how worrying and upsetting it can be when
a family pet goes missing. That’s why we developed the DogTrac tag as there is
nothing else like it that gives you the peace of mind knowing your pet has the best
possible protection”.

The tags are available on Dogtrac’s website, come in small and medium for
larger dogs and are available for £12.
