The Role: 

This is a field-based role, with daily travel to meet with existing and new Stockist/Retail Partners in  the Midlands. Knowledge of the area and customer base is an advantage. 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • To deliver the sales budget for the region by identifying new sales opportunities, sharing New  Product Development, and engaging Partners in the range of ESSENTIAL’S product range. • Supporting & educating our Partners to understand how ESSENTIAL FOODS is enabling a unique  sales and business proposition. 
  • Supporting Partners to train and develop their teams with a wealth of product and merchandising  knowledge. 
  • To work collaboratively with our UK manager to ensure appropriate new Partner accounts are  opened and sales targets delivered. 
  • To meet the monthly and annual targets for new Partner account openings.  • To drive the increased awareness of ESSENTIAL FOODS in your region 
  • To use all of ESSENTIAL FOODS’ internal systems, including CRM, to ensure sustainable growth. 

The Candidate: 

Essential: 

  • Sales & business focused 
  • Retail Field experience, including merchandising skills & an ability to analyse product positioning • Highly organised and able to work independently as well as in a team 
  • Effective and efficient communicator 
  • Ability to influence, excite and engage with Partners 
  • Analyse data to identify new trends and opportunities 
  • Build a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership 
  • Become a trusted advisor for your Partners 
  • Identify new leads and aim to convert them into Partners  
  • Clean driving license
