Healthy Pet Store has promoted current store manager Richard Wall to operations manager as it prepares to open a second store.

Wall has joined the head office team and will be managing fundamental departments of the business such as purchasing, website management, logistics and warehousing. He started the new role in October 2022.

Wall said:“I am absolutely delighted to be appointed as the new Operations Manager. I have been with Healthy Pet Store for five years and have watched the business go from strength to strength.

“From the smaller pet store that it was just two years ago to the business that it is today, I’m excited to be on this journey with Healthy Pet Store. I can’t wait to get stuck in and help lead the business on its next steps.”

Deborah Burrows, managing director, said: “Richard has been appointed because of his outstanding ability, skills and experience. He is a dedicated member of the team and will be an asset when getting other stores off the ground with speed.

“We are still a young company and Richard understands the challenges that come with that. I know he is committed to improving our processes while supporting all members of staff, whether they are head office or shop floor staff.”
