Little BigPaw acquired by Sweden’s Petbuddy Group
The founders of Little BigPaw will remain with the company, which PBG said is key to its compounder strategy

Petbuddy Group (PBG), a Swedish-based group of sustainable pet care brands, has acquired British premium pet food brand Little BigPaw.
This marks the second acquisition by PBG in 2022, following the acquisition of British MediPaws in February, and is the group’s fourth acquisition in 18 months.
Little BigPaw offers natural dog and cat food, and is active in the British market but also exports goods to over 45 countries globally. The founders will remain with the company, which PBG said is key to its compounder strategy.
PBG is backed by Swedish investors, from venture capital firm Luminar Ventures to family offices such as Knutsson Holding and Prioritet Finans and Juni fintech co-founder Samir El-Sabini.
Brands under its portfolio include Buddy, WAP Dog Care, Nutrolin and MediPaws has acquired British premium pet food brand Little BigPaw.
The group said its goal is to become the leading group of premium and sustainable pet food companies in Europe within five years.
