Webbox to support The Mirror’s Animal Hero Awards 2018

Pet food brand, Webbox, has signed up to be the official partner of the 2018 Animal Hero Awards, alongside animal welfare charity the RSPCA.

The annual awards which place in London this September recognises animals, individuals and teams that have shown ‘outstanding commitment’ in the animal world.

This year’s categories include Hero Animal of the Year, Young Animal Hero and Conservationist of the Year and all winners will be chosen by the judges, who includeTV personalities and a respected veterinarian.

Tony Raeburn, Pets Choice CEO, Webbox brand owner and member of the judging panel, said: “At Webbox we are committed to the ongoing welfare of all creatures, working alongside charities that support animals and humans through all walks of life.

“Every month we receive hundreds of letters with stories about the hard work and commitment given to animals by so many, along with the fantastic stories about the dedication that pets give back to humans and working with the Animal Hero Awards provides us with the right platform to recognise these tremendous people.

“I’m really looking forward to reading the nominations for the 2018 awards and meeting those that work so tirelessly to help the creatures we care for so deeply.”

Nominations for this year’s awards close on Sunday 15 July. The ceremony will be hosted by TV personality Amanda Holden and will take place at Grosvenor House on Thursday 6 September 2018.
