Bugalugs launches in 220 Asda stores
Bugalugs has entered into many independent stores as well as other pet retailers, such as Jollyes, Just For Pets and all Pets at Home Stores, with Asda as the latest in the lineup
British pet care brand, Bugalugs Pet Care, has secured a nationwide contract with Asda, which will see a range of Bugalugs products on the shelves of over 220 Asda stores across the UK.
Bugalugs’ partnership with Asda began when the brand was selected to participate as the only pet grooming brand in Asda’s newly launched Pet Zone trial. The success of this trial allowed Bugalugs to go live in Asda stores and online grocery nationwide.
Established in 2020 by founder and managing director, Lee Dobinson, with his dog Max AKA Bugalugs being the forefront of the brand. Bugalugs has since seen “substantial” growth in the pet care industry.
This includes entering many independent stores as well as other pet retailers, such as Jollyes, Just For Pets and all Pets at Home Stores, with Asda as the latest in the lineup.
Dobinson said: “Securing this contract with Asda has been a very exciting venture for Bugalugs Pet Care. It has been a pleasure working with the Asda team, their approach to working with SMEs has blown us away. We can’t wait to see where the brand will go next.”
Bugalugs Pet Care offers a range of vegan and cruelty free dog grooming products. Manufactured in the brand’s own family-owned factory in the Lake District, the range includes shampoos, colognes, balms, ear care products and more.
