Denzel’s founders named Animal Food Entrepreneur of the Year
Recipients of the award also include Mark Scott and Tony Ottley of Bella and Duke, Mathew Cockroft and Daniel Valdur Eha of Pure Pet Food, and Pankaj Hurria of Tiana Halal Cat Food
The founders of healthy dog snack brand Denzel’s, James Lacy and Nathan Perry, have received the Animal Food Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 award at the Food and Drink Heroes awards.
Recipients of the award also include Mark Scott and Tony Ottley of Bella and Duke, Mathew Cockroft and Daniel Valdur Eha of Pure Pet Food, and Pankaj Hurria of Tiana Halal Cat Food.
The event was launched in 2020 to celebrate the “best” British entrepreneurs and innovators in the industry and to offer a programme of support and collaboration.
This year’s event received 700 entries this year, and the Food and Drinks Heroes said that finalists all have two things in common: an entrepreneurial spirit and an “astonishing” set of achievements, by not only themselves, but also their brands.
Francesca James, founder of Food and Drink Heroes, said: “The line-up of finalists is nothing short of impressive. I’m more than pleased to see even more entrepreneurs being given the chance to share their story.
“I have no doubt that this year’s finalists are some of the best businesses we’ve seen yet and will be recognised as such.”
