Heights Farm Premium Pet Foods expand north with Worsley franchise
Pet food manufacturer, Heights Farm Premium Pets Foods, a family-run business based in the north of England, is set to expand its Greater Manchester operations with a new franchise business start-up in the area.
Peter Roberts, previously worked for 21 years as an engineer in the food manufacturing sector working for companies such as Nestle, Kelloggs and Dr Oetker, but decided to change career paths to spend more time with his dogs.
This is the fourth new franchise operation for Heights Farm Premium Pet Foods since January of this year and Roberts’ round will cover Worsley, Swinton, Eccles, Salford, Urmston, Lowton, Leigh, Atherton, Tyldsley and surrounding areas.
The company was established in 2009 with a product range which starts from puppy to adult and includes proteins such as chicken, lamb and salmon.
Heights Farm has seen growth through word of mouth. The model is based on a one to one service, as its products are not available on the high street but are delivered straight to the customer.
Heights Farm Premium Pet Foods supply nationally with a next day delivery service and internationally within two to three days. It offers free delivery within Bolton Blackburn, Chorley, Halifax and Preston.
Roberts said: โAfter spending so long working in a manufacturing environment I really needed a change in career – something to reignite my drive and ambition. My love outside of work is my dogs so finding a way of earning while spending as much time with them as possible is perfect for me. Taking up the franchise with Heights Farm Premium Pet Foods allows me to work for myself, be my own boss while working with my dogs at my side.
