Following huge demand, Naturo Natural Pet Food has launched their 10kg Dry Dog Food range in both Grain Free Chicken and Grain Free Turkey with Potato and Vegetables. This range expansion follows on from the launch of their Dry Food range last year, which came in 2kg bags.
Naturo’s Dry Dog Food comes in a 100% recyclable paper bag and contains 50% Chicken or Turkey and 26% Potato. These grain free recipes are perfect for dogs who suffer from allergies or intolerances and need easily digestible food.
Launched in 2010, Naturo has grown from an initial 4 varieties, to 38. Naturo has wet and dry food, grain free, gluten free and rice options suitable for all stages of a dog’s life from Puppy, through to Adult and Senior years. Naturo also includes a grain free range for adult cats.
Shopper behaviour is ever changing and adapting, even more so given the effects of pandemic we have seen so far in 2020 and 2021. COVID-19 has led people to shop less frequently and buying in larger pack formats. As a result of these changes, larger pack formats are outperforming the category*.
Responding to these changes in shopper needs and behaviours, Naturo released their 12 pack varieties early last year in their wet dog food range, and this launch of a larger 10kg pack format builds on being able to deliver the pack formats that consumers want.
All Naturo products are fully traceable, and only use high quality, natural ingredients. There are no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives in the Naturo range. All meat used at Naturo is processed to the same standard as those used for human consumption, not using inedible and poorly digestible animal products, bulking agents, or synthetic chemicals.
The brand has seen significant growth in the past year, reaching 17 countries worldwide including across Europe, South Korea, and Canada. Investment has seen Naturo launch three national campaigns across the UK and Ireland, both digital and on TV throughout 2020 and 2021 to date. Naturo’s 2020 sales reached £20.9m online and in store and continue to thrive.
Last year, Naturo announced £5.7m being allocated for the brand’s growth. This is in addition to previous investments that seen a purpose-built plastic tray facility and fully automated pot line being added to their state-of-the-art facilities.
So far this year, Naturo have launched eight new products to keep up with consumer and retailer demands. These larger 10kg dry dog food bags follow behind launches of a Jelly 390g can range (including a variety 6 pack and single flavour 12 packs), Mini Dog Variety Pack and Senior Dog Variety Pack.
