Laughing Dog donates £6,000 of dog food to UK charities
In addition to donating food where it can, Laughing Dog has launched a charity programme giving charities and rescue homes discounted rates on its food and treats
Laughing Dog has donated over £6,000 of dog food and treats to rescue homes and charities across Britain so far this year.
The company, which is manufactured by Fold Hill Foods, said it has plans to continue to support further charitable causes throughout the year.
In addition to donating food where it can, Laughing Dog has launched a charity programme giving charities and rescue homes discounted rates on its food and treats.
Since 2019, Fold Hill Foods has donated over £49,000 worth of dog food and treats to dog charities, rescue centres and re-homing charities.
Mitchell Pearson, charity fundraising coordinator at Laughing Dog, said: “We support as many dog charities and rescues as we can – donating a mix of our Laughing Dog baked treats and dog foods, as well as our mixer meals.
“Helping to support charities is really important to us as a family business and it means we get to meet lots of new four-legged friends along the way.”
He added: “We also support local charities too – each month we give our staff the opportunity to nominate and vote for their preferred Lincolnshire-based charity, ensuring that everyone has a chance to suggest ideas to help support the local community.”
Fold Hill Foods is one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of pet food, and home to the brands Laughing Dog Food, Chewdles and Pointer.
