Secret donor doubles Kennel Club charity’s cash
The charity will be given up to £100,000 due to the donor doubling every pound they raise by the end of the year
The Kennel Club is set to be given up to £100,000 in 2021 thanks to an undisclosed donation from one of its supporters.
The charity will be given the sum of money thanks to the donor doubling every pound they raise by the end of the year.
Last week, Kennel Club launched a Double the Pawprint campaign, fronted by a new love-heart paw logo, as part of its fundraising campaign.
The organisation hopes double-your-money scheme will create a potential funding pot of £200,000 which will be shared with other pet welfare organisations.
Bill King, The Kennel Club’s chairman, said: “The decision by one of our long-term supporters to double everything we can raise this year is such an incredible boost to all the work we need to do.
“We can’t thank them enough for their astonishing kindness. The difference this will make to the health and welfare of dogs in Britain is absolutely ground-breaking.”
